The Emergency Ban on Flavored E-Cigarettes; What’s Next?

When you are anything like me, you do not actually care what E-Cigarette flavors the federal government decides to make legal, and then see it make its way in to the hands of the general public. I am sure there are a few people who are really that concerned, and also have stood up for their rights to choose what flavors they want to use in their vaporizer. However, if you are a American citizen who is over the age of 18, you have a right to vote.

It might sound crazy but there are several illnesses associated with carbon monoxide smoke, including cancer, and everyone should want to quit smoking. There are numerous toxins found in secondhand cigarette smoke that can cause lung disease, depression, anxiety, weight gain and many other negative side effects. If people start smoking, they tend to inhale so much smoke that they can only have one lung following the first few cigarettes. Vaping flavors like Blueberry Blast, Fruit Colada or Grapefruit Temptations will not increase the level of smoke inhaled, but it will definitely increase the Vape Pen amount of vapor made by the e Cigarette.

The reason why the government has made a decision to place a ban on the sale of these kind of E-Cigarettes is because they’re addictive, and smokers shouldn’t be made to feel good about themselves for smoking. They just don’t have the willpower to stop, regardless of how hard they try. The flavors you can buy for your vaporizers are there to help you puff away when you are reading the paper or doing the laundry. The ban on flavors like Blueberry Blast and Fruit Colada was designed to curb the abuse of vaporizers and e Cigarettes around the country.

According to the FDA, the ban on flavored e Cigarettes is here to “provide a healthy alternative for consumers who are increasingly concerned about the general public health crisis.” There have been reports over time that e Cigarettes tend to be more addictive than traditional cigarettes. Children may also be becoming regular smokers because they do not want to miss out on all of the fun of enjoying all the new vaporizer flavors except for blueberry and cherry. The FDA has had an obvious stance in dealing with the brand new York City health department’s need to ban flavored vaporizers.

Most teens do not desire to quit their cool cigarettes just to follow the example set by the doctors in New York City. They crave the flavors of these favorite candy and chocolate and would go out of their way to purchase their favorite flavors. The FDA is dealing with the manufacturers of e-Cigarettes, not teens.
